安省能源部圆桌会议----长期能源计划及清洁能源战略

2013年12月11日下午，在安省能源部会议室，安省能源部长Bob Chiarelli先生主持召开了华文媒体圆桌会议，探讨安省的长期能源计划和清洁能源战略。刚刚修订完成的长期能源计划（LTEP）名为“实现平衡”，综合考虑了指引未来决策的5项基本原则：成本效益、可靠性、清洁能源、社区参与以及在建设发电设备之前强调节能和需求管理。该计划旨在鼓励节能，为安省人民提供他们所需要的清洁、可靠并支付得起的能源战略。
与之前的计划相比，在实现2014年底关闭最后的燃煤发电机组的承诺下，新计划预计在近期（2013-2017年）降低160亿加币的工程成本，到2030年预计减少700亿加币能源建设成本。Chiarelli部长重点强调：通过实施节能计划和标准，通过创新技术，减少对新增能源的需求；同时详细讲解了为消费者降低成本的激励减免项目。与2010年长期能源计划相比，住宅用户有望在今后5年减少支付520元，到2030年减少至3800加币的费用；工业用户则有望5年内减少支付近300万加币的费用，到2030年将减少1100万加币。此外，根据未来能源需求量的预测，新计划将停建新的核电站，用此预算改造现有的两个核电项目，以及积极开发风能、太阳能和生活能源等可再生清洁能源。
部长最后强调：提供长期的清洁可靠及人民可承受支付的电力计划是政府在投资人力、建设现代化设施和支持有活力的创新型商业环境的经济规划的一部分。他希望有更多的社会团体、企业和社区居民与政府合作，参与节能环保、信息技术及清洁能源的开发创新。

The Budget Billing Plan offers Enbridge customers the opportunity to spread out their natural gas charges over 11 equal instalments to help control for fluctuating seasonal energy costs. Customers can sign up for the program between September and February. Contact Information: 1–877–362–7434

The Golden Age Service offers residential customers 65 years or older a variety of benefits including: waiving of security deposits (if there is a good payment record); the option to pay for monthly gas bills after receiving your pension cheque (your bill will show the same due date, but there will not be late payment charges). Golden Age members can also benefit from these additional programs: special payment arrangements to help if you fall behind; Budget Billing Plan to spread payments out evenly throughout the year; and Pre-Authorized Payments to automatically withdraw monthly payments.
