Dan Bellyk, Sarnia, ON: “A Beautiful Summers Night”
Judges described “A Beautiful Summers Night” as breathtaking anddefinitely frame-worthy!
Brad Adams, Walsingham, ON: “Fun in the Lake”
The low perspective, close to the water, and employment of depthof field to focus on the little girl enjoying “Fun in the Lake” – whilekeeping the anchored vessels muted in the background – made thisa winner with our judges.

The fist pump in “Building Something” captures a moment in time thattells the story well – good outdoor fun, teamwork and a huge sense ofaccomplishment!
Gary Scoyne, Simcoe, ON: “Jack Always the Spotter”
Many favourite photos include mates of the canine persuasion, butthe alert stance of spotter Jack, framing his waterskiing charge, made“Jack Always a Spotter” a winner for judges.
Brenda McDonnell, Stratford, ON: “Pilothouse Diving Board”
Judges agreed that “Pilothouse Diving Board” is a quality shot thatSHOUTS fun! They love the action, the one kid caught mid-jump, andthe "here we go" looks on the faces!
Harold Ball, Whitby, ON: “Serenity”
Another frame-worthy image, “Serenity” could easily representboating through the ages, said one judge. Crisp, clean colours, goodcomposition, and soothing scenery representative of the boatinglifestyle.
Ashley Demelo, Barrie, ON: “Family Affair”
Family connection, heading out on an adventure, made “FamilyAffair” a winner for judges. Colours and symmetry create high-impactcomposition. On a side note, judges appreciated that all the kids insuch a classic boating portrait are wearing their PFDs!
Alexei Kintero, Ottawa, ON: “Flying Over Rideau”
Judges found the colourful stop-action “Flying Over Rideau” torepresent well the passion of PWC enthusiasts.
Cindy Hatherley, Mactier, ON: “Show Me How, Daddy”
The simple, but effective composition capturing a private familymoment is what made “Show Me How, Daddy” a winner for judges.
Deena Layton, Goderich, ON: “Summer Nights”
This classic powerboat framed by fast-moving water made “SummerNights” a winner for judges.
Steven Sheppard, Brantford, ON: “Titanic Moment”
There's absolutely nothing like feeling the wind in your hair andacross your face on a beautiful sunny day out on the water, saidjudges of “Titanic Moment.” This completely captures that moment allboaters relish.
Slawek Demianczuk, Newmarket, ON: “In the Morning Sun”
Nicely textured, with the glass, water droplets and wood, saidjudges of “In The Morning Sun.” The close-up transitions somethingcompletely ordinary into a piece of art. Captures the essence of earlymorning on the water – you can almost smell the coffee brewing!
